We do not collect or store any personal data about your browsing, prompts, summaries, highlights, or workspaces.

• Extension activity: All computation stays on-device. We never transmit or log your research data.
• Waitlist & support emails: If you voluntarily email us, the message lives only in your email provider. We do not copy or retain it anywhere else.
• Telemetry: None. The extension does not phone home, send analytics, or track usage.

3. How We Use Your Information

Because we do not store information, there is nothing to analyze or monetize. If you contact us, we only use your message to reply and then archive/delete it.

4. Data Processing & Storage

• All AI processing happens locally on your device—even when using WebLLM or Ollama.
• We do not maintain databases, cloud backups, or log files containing user data.
• If you connect your own API keys (OpenAI, OpenRouter, etc.), the credentials remain stored within your browser profile and never touch our infrastructure.

5. Cookies & Analytics

The site does not set tracking cookies, run analytics beacons, or embed third-party scripts that could store data about you.

6. Your Rights

• Request a copy of the information we store about you.
• Ask us to update or correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your waitlist entry or support history.

When you choose to integrate external AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Ollama, OpenRouter), you are subject to their respective privacy policies. Your API keys are stored locally inside the browser extension and never transmitted to SotaSearch.ai.

• Access to email storage and administrative dashboards is strictly limited.
• Security reviews and dependency updates are performed regularly.
